Protecting The Duty To Serve Christ

Notwithstanding the Congress’s lack of authority to impose a Social Security Number or any other identification number on the People, nor does it have the authority to interfere with a ‘people’s’ contract with a bank or banker,  the Treasury Department has mandated that no bank can treat anyone as a customer unless that customer signs up for a federal income taxpayer identification number even if that ‘people’ is not a federal income tax payer. Notwithstanding that American law historically recognizes religion as that highest right of a people that government is instituted to protect, and that the United States’, and States’ Bill of Rights have strong language protecting religion, and that Congress enacted the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, the Treasury Department excludes the possibility of allowing for a religious accommodation to the universal identification number requirement.  Andrea M. Sharrin, Delegate-Apparent of the FinCEN Director said, “FinCEN has explicitly clarified that a bank may not open an account for a U.S. person that does not have a taxpayer identification number.  FinCEN has not made exceptions on religious grounds and will not provide such relief in this matter:”

David Alan Carmichael applied for a determination on the application of law and a waiver to the SSN identification requirement for banking.  Here is the chronicle of the ongoing process.

Banking Without A Number

  - A bank refuses to allow my wife to be a signatory on her aged mother’s bank account without identification with the universal ID number SSN.  Another bank has been refusing to allow David or any of his unnumbered family members to get bank accounts solely because of the FinCEN/Treasury Department’s published prohibition.  David filed his formal administrative due process request regarding his wife’s situation on December 22, 2016 and another formal request on March 22, 2017, directly to the Acting Director of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).  After many months, and a little harassment, the only action taken was that an underling of he FinCEN sent the private documents to a third party by email, on two occasions, though no email was associated with either request.  David filed a Freedom of Information Act Request with the FinCEN FOIA Officer and received the email chain of the renegade usurper.  Subsequently, David sent a letter to United States Senator of Virginia, Mark Warner, asking him to intervene and get a copy of the documents where they needed to go.  Senator Warner sent them to the Secretary of the Treasury.  Finally, we have a reply that was mailed on March 13, 2018, probably from someone who does not actually have the authority to respond to the request.  A week later, we responded to the faulty reply and are now moving it up the next rung on the ladder, the Secretary of the Treasury.
